A Legacy of Faithfulness
Faith-Based and Mission Driven. Our Lutheran heritage and beliefs are what first led to the establishment of this ministry and they continue to guide us each day. Every Lutheran Life Community welcomes people of all faiths, beliefs and traditions and, as a not-for-profit, faith-based organization, Lutheran Life Communities is committed to never asking a resident to leave as a result of outliving his or her financial resources. Toward this goal, we offer a resident assistance/benevolent fund supported by the Lutheran Life Communities Foundation.
Exceeding Expectations Everyday.
Extensive Health Care Expertise.
Lutheran Life Communities is grateful for its strong history of community support. We were founded in 1892 by faithful congregations that wanted to meet the needs of their aging members. From one generation to the next, donors and friends have come forward to support this ministry of service. The same is certainly true today. The Lutheran Life Communities Foundation was established to receive gifts for all of our campuses.
Last year, the Lutheran Life Communities Foundation was able to raise over five million dollars thanks to the many generous friends who made the choice to be a part of this ministry. Generous contributions helped to fund campus reconstruction and renovation, provided spiritual care, supported staff development and enabled us to care for residents who have outlived their financial resources.
There are a variety of ways that you can support Lutheran Life Communities including donating online, by mail or through a gift of stocks and bonds. Others have chosen to support our ministry by remembering us in their estate plans. The Foundation Regional Directors at each campus work with donors and their professional advisors to develop gifts that are meaningful to donors and that positively impact the residents we serve. Lutheran Life Communities is proud to recognize our donors through our giving societies. All giving society members are named in our donor honor roll, are invited special campus events, and are recognized at an annual gathering that celebrates our ministry together.
The 1892 Society
The Lutheran Life Communities 1892 Society recognizes generous contributors whose cumulative giving is $100,000 or more.
The Circle of Caring
The Lutheran Life Communities Circle of Caring provides recognition to generous contributors whose cumulative giving during the calendar year is $1,000 or more. This vital support ensures our ministry continues to be carried out.
The Generations Society
The Generations Society is open to all who have remembered a Lutheran Life Community in their will or who have a planned gift through a trust, charitable gift annuity, life insurance policy or other arrangement. These gifts provide lifelong security to our residents, and ensure the long-term stability of our ministry.
The Loyal Donor Society
Lutheran Life Communities recognizes our most consistent donors who have made a gift for five consecutive years or more. The commitment of our loyal donors is vital to our mission and serves as an example to others who are interested in supporting our cause.
Commitment 26 Associate Giving Program
In addition to our donor societies, a large percentage of our staff participates in our Associate Giving Program called Commitment 26. Staff contributions provide significant assistance to residents with the greatest need.
If you are interested in learning more about how your gift can make a real difference in the lives of the residents we serve, please contact our Senior Vice President of Mission and Ministry, Rev.
