Lutheran Life Communities announces Jesse Jantzen is resigning his position as President & CEO. Jesse’s last day with Lutheran Life will be Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Under his leadership, the organization has significantly strengthened its core operations, accomplished critical strategic planning and continued to empower vibrant grace filled living across all generations.
About his time leading Lutheran Life Communities, Jesse expressed “It has been an honor to serve alongside the dedicated associates of Lutheran Life Communities, and witnessing the mission come to life. The Board’s demonstrated commitment to the mission has guided a transformation of the organization, positioning it for growth and expanded impact for decades to come. I am confident that the residents and families served by Lutheran Life Communities will continue to experience grace filled living.”
The Board has named Michael K. Renetzky, long time Board member and Board Chair, as Interim CEO. The Board will lead a nation-wide search, in conjunction with a nationally known executive search firm, for the new President & CEO of Lutheran Life Communities. “We are saddened by Jesse’s announcement, but we recognize that we have been blessed to work together in ministry with Jesse, even if for a relatively short time. I am truly thankful for the Lord’s guiding hand and for all the talented and dedicated people He has placed in Lutheran Life Communities. I look forward to working closely with our experienced and accomplished leadership teams across our communities to support our associates and volunteers in fulfilling our mission to our residents and families,” said Michael.
Jesse’s new role with another senior living provider brings him closer to his family. The Board and Lutheran Life Communities wish him Godspeed in this next chapter.
