It was a beautiful, sunny day Wednesday, June 29 for the 5^th Annual SOS Cancer Walk. Staff, family members, volunteers and residents from the Lutheran Home and neighboring Luther Village walked on campus to aid in the fight against cancer. For a $5.00 donation, walkers designed a placard to honor and remember their loved ones. Placards lined the scenic walk route around the pond at Luther Village. Well over $1,000.00 was raised this year and will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
