Mother’s Day celebration at the Lutheran Home
May 15th, 2012
This years’ annual Mother’s Day brunch at the Lutheran Home was the biggest and most beautiful yet.
380 guests attended in addition to dozens of volunteers and staff members. Everyone was served a delicious, diverse selection of food prepared by the Lutheran Home’s talented Culinary Services team. People seemed to be most impressed by the amazing fruit carvings and display.
Jennifer Silk entertained the crowd with her beautiful violin music – she even took requests as she serenaded each table.
“The brunch was wonderful,” said Carol Keipert, a guest at the brunch. “We were very impressed with the decor, the food, the organization, the music, everything. Thank you for having this event. We really enjoyed spending time with family in such a nice way.”
