Celebrating Easter at the Lutheran Home
April 9th, 2012
As a Christian-based organization, Lutheran Life Communities brings the celebration of Easter to each resident and family member who wishes to participate. The Lutheran Home provided many opportunities for residents to celebrate the life of Christ, give thanks for His many sacrifices, and to learn more about Easter.
Holy Week at the Lutheran Home included services on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday “Service of Darkness,” and Easter Sunday. There was also an Easter egg hunt for residents and their families.
Easter is the most significant day in the life of Christ for Christians to celebrate, and the Lutheran Home was glad to bring a balance of spirituality, worship and family-togetherness during the Holy Week.
