1892, Pastor August Reinke and a community of lay people responded faithfully to a call to build a place of care-one that would provide physical, social and spiritual care for those amongst them, congregation members who were aging and in need. Today, people of all faiths are welcomed through the doors of Lutheran Life Communities. They are neighbors in the diverse communities in which we live.
Because of God’s love for the whole world, we extend Christ’s loving and healing hand through compassionate care to all people, regardless of their religious affiliation.
Pastoral services will always be a primary component of total wellness within Lutheran Life Communities. And most certainly, spiritual wellness will always include opportunities to grow and strengthen one’s personal relationship with Jesus, our Savior. Residents across our system elect to participate in Bible studies, worship celebrations, Sunday services, prayer groups and many other opportunities for spiritual growth and enrichment.
