Rick Steffen has replaced “Music in the Chapel” with a new program – “Our Beautiful World” – which will celebrate many different kinds of beauty God has given us in our world: music (including our monthly hymn sing-alongs), nature, art, travel, theater, and literature. |

Auxiliary’s June Jumble, Courtyard Café Courtyard (Lutheran Home) June Jumble This event is open to the public. Join the Lutheran Home for the Annual June Jumble from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event is hosted by the Lutheran Home’s Auxiliary as a fundraiser to assist with providing financial support to upgrade the sound and video system in the Chapel of St. John and for the internal TV Channel. The June Jumble is open to the public and features the very popular jewelry fences, attic treasures, resident arts & crafts and new merchandise for all ages. Picnic food and refreshments will also be available. The June Jumble will be held outdoors in the Courtyard Café on the campus of Lutheran Home located at 800 West Oakton Street in Arlington Heights. In case of rain, the event will be moved indoors. For further information regarding “June Jumble,” please call 847-368-7400. |

Teen Volunteer Orientation Session 1 (Lutheran Home) Teens starting at age 12 who are interested in volunteering are invited to attend one of the orientation sessions. There is limited seating at each session. Other available sessions are June 18 & July 8. Call 847-368-7482 and leave a message to reserve a seat. For each teen attending say their name, age, telephone number and date of orientation. Registration will begin 15 minutes before each session. |
