Welcome to the Lutheran Home

Established in 1892, the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights is recognized as one of America’s finest older adult care communities. Consistent emphasis on innovation has led to a community receptive to change when there are opportunities to advance service and care. As a result, the Lutheran Home feels decidedly different from other communities. With a passion for compassion and vibrant, grace-filled living, the Lutheran Home seeks to provide a variety of care and life-enriching programs to its residents and the outstanding community. Among the programs offered from the Lutheran Home: assisted living, intermediate care, skilled nursing, memory support, and inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation. There is also Shepherd’s Flock, an intergenerational child care program.

Residents of the Lutheran Home are invited to participate in a variety of intellectual, social, recreational, and spiritual, success-based activities – such as crafts, outings, live music, Nintendo Wii, and intergenerational events. Residents should also consider SeniorFITnessTM, a program designed to promote physical goals and independence.
