Women of the church, of Biblical times and today, celebrated at Wittenberg Village
June 13th, 2010

Wittenberg Village Chaplain, Cory Wielert, planned this Sunday’s service at the campus’ Lord of Life Chapel to honor Women of the Church – with Women of the Church.
With the likes of Mary, Lois, Hannah, Eunice, Dorcus, Ruth, etc., the Bible establishes a firm foundation that women have helped the Church of God throughout its history. From well before Jesus ascended on high, before Jesus was born of Mary, women were at work in the Kingdom of God. In the Sunday celebration of women in the church, Wittenberg Village residents and guests heard some of the stories of these women, and others, who have served to help grow the Kingdom of God.
A special thanks to the women involved in this celebration. (Pictured left to right) Frieda Kraemer, Linda Angermann, Sharon Grelecki, Kathy O’Day, Brittany Komasinski, Kristin Wielert, Marilyn Kozlowski, Kelly Besaw and Martha Diekelmann.
