“The Love Boat promises something for everyone. Set a course for adventure (Love Boat theme song).” That was the theme for the nearly 60 residents who set sail on a fun-filled Love Boat cruise without ever leaving the room.

Every few months, Pleasant View staff creates a mock-cruise for residents to gain the experience of venturing somewhere new and exciting.  In honor of Valentine’s Day, this last cruise destination is not what made this adventure unique, it was the entertainment, food and theme that made it special.

Jerry Armstrong entertained the crowd by singing love songs.  Residents enjoyed a delicious meal including “You are My Catch of The Day Salad,” “My Sweetheart Chicken with Love Apple” and lastly a “Sweet Surprise” dessert.

The cruise was complete with games and a love themed movie.  Everyone had a great time and we all look forward to our next cruise.
