Nine residents of Pleasant View attended a glass blowing demonstration and gallery tour at Starved Rock Hot Glass on April 12.

Laura Johnson, owner and glass artist, gave the tour and demonstrated her amazing talents for her guests.  She specializes in original hand-blown art glass and jewelry.

It was a beautiful and fun day for the residents to be out and learn about a unique form of art.
