Life line screening event at St. Pauls House
June 14th, 2012
On Wednesday, June 13, St. Pauls House and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center hosted a free Life Line Screening event to help prevent strokes. Strokes are the third leading cause of death in U.S. and the number one cause of adult disability.
The auditorium was packed with individuals who came to meet with the clinical professionals who were there to screen patients using painless ultrasounds to see plaque build up. Clinicians referred event patients to healthcare providers for follow up care if necessary.
We are grateful for all the professionals and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center who gave their time and talents to help save lives.
