Gero Solutions offers moving options to people who have need to downsize as they move. Move management and relocation services include assistance with home sales, move consultation, packing/moving services, estate sales, charity pick-up services, floor planning in the new residence, unpacking services and much more. Gloria Bersani, co- founder of Gero Solutions has helped Rita Stevens in her various moves over the past 10 years.

Rita has made several big moves in her lifetime. Of her experiences with Gloria, Rita said, “My husband and I were moving from a community cottage to a smaller apartment and the home recommended Gloria Bersani. My husband was at a point where he could not help and so I had to have someone who would do it all for me. Gloria said, ‘Don’t worry about it, we’ll be there.’ They packed me the day before and the next day they moved me into the apartment.”

Rita has been an avid collector of various glass figurines. Downsizing her collection was no small feat. “Gloria introduced me to a person who handles antiques, and the sale of certain things, who helped remove our belongings from storage. She not only sorted out my possessions for me, she got rid of them, and I didn’t have to worry about any of it. She helped me sell some of it, move some of it into the apartment, and the rest we donated to the home. In addition to that the movers came in, packed it all up, and when they move you in, then they go ahead and unpack everything and put it back where they found it. I didn’t have one box that I had to unpack. “

Says Mrs. Stevens, “Before you move, they give you a quote and Gloria also drew up a floor plan so we could decide where we wanted to put the furniture. It worked out real well. After my husband passed away, I decided to move again, and of course I called Gloria Bersani. She did the same thing, moving, floor plan, etc. The fees were very nominal. You could go to the moving companies and it would be more expensive. With Gloria –she advises you, holds your hand while you’re doing it. I wanted my nephew to have a few of my things; she told me, ‘If he isn’t going to come down to get things, we can talk about sending them up to him.’ They do everything; you don’t have to worry about a thing.”
