Veteran's Club departs for lunch at Jack's Cafe in LeRoy adn then will visit The Simpkins Military History Museum in Heyworth. This museum displays a unique and personal collection of artifacts that the owner, Jack Simpkins has collected over the past 50 years. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. You will need money for lunch.

This event is open to the public. "Music in the Chapel" emphasizes how the variety of music enriches and expands our cultural and emotional lives. Calling on his years of experience as a college music professor, Rick Steffen (Lutheran Home Music Director & Pastoral Care Assistant) present programs of music appreciation which includes historical background, biographical information, and musical analysis on everything from Mitch Miller sing-alongs to a Beethoven Symphony.
Independent Living residents are invited to join Chaplain Cory Wielert for Bible Study in the Crown of Life Chapel.
