Welcome to Shepherd's Flock Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are a full-time year-round licensed childcare facility
located within the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights. We are open to children 6 weeks to 6 years of age, and
are open 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday. Shepherd's Flock is open to employees of the Lutheran Home, as well as at the
community. Employee and sibling discounts are available.
We are now celebrating our 10th year of serving families in a
faith-based, wholechild environment. We reach the child's needs spiritually, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
We incorporate many daily activities in the children's day, including learning centers such as art, music, sensory, and
free choice. A large part of our mission is to bring together the young and the seniors of the Lutheran Home. The children
visit the residents on a weekly basis and enjoy doing activities with them. We also have our own buses for taking the
children on field trips, have new indoor and outdoor playground facilities, and access to the beautiful Lutheran Home
campus for walks and other activities.
