Lutheran Home & Services has long been recognized as an expert in the care of those challenged with memory loss. We offer progressive residential models of care where environments suit residents’ need for safety, security and dignity. Residents experiencing early to mid-stage memory loss reside in our “neighborhoods” where 12 individuals are accommodated in private rooms complete with a half bath and homelike surroundings. Our continuum also includes Pathways, where the setting and care is unique to the needs of residents in the advanced stages of memory loss.
Residents thrive in the comfort of knowing they are accepted and cared for by Lutheran Home’s dedicated and specially trained staff. Life enrichment programs, intergenerational activities and opportunities for fellowship are more of what makes our memory loss continuum of care superior.
Lutheran Community Services offers a premier day program for adults experiencing memory loss and who are still residing in the community. Offering assistance Monday through Friday, Cherished Place Adult Day Services is a unique club where members have a place to reconnect with peers and succeed. Family and caregivers gain peace of mind and needed respite while their loved one is well cared for during the day at Cherished Place.
