Gretchen Brown, Campus Administrator
Gretchen has a wealth of experience, having been an Administrator and Director of Health Services at two other Illinois retirement communities and a Director of Nursing at an area hospital and skilled nursing facility. Gretchen received her BSN from the University of Iowa and her Master’s in Health Administration from University of St. Francis. She’s certified as an aging services professional through the University of North Texas and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). Gretchen has been working with Luther Oaks since December 2008. “Every staff member here is enthusiastic and dedicated to their work and it’s obvious they genuinely care for the residents they serve,” says Gretchen. “I’m proud to be associated with Luther Oaks and look forward to helping interested seniors join this close-knit, friendly community.”
Jacquie Helphinstine, Assisted Living Director
With over ten years experience with the seniors, Jacquie brings with her a great skill set to Luther Oaks. Jacquie received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and her BSN from Illinois Wesleyan University and has resided in the Bloomington – Normal community for 34 years. “I have a passion for the senior population and feel that it is a wonderful privilege to bring them to our resort type community,” says Jacquie.
Ann Hansen, Senior Living Counselor
Ann has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and more than 12 years experience working with the Seniors. She has primarily worked in long-term care as a Social Service Director and Admission Coordinator/Referral Manager. Ann has been working with Luther Oaks since 2006. “I love meeting with prospective residents and families, and showing them that everything about this community, from our residences to our services and amenities to our caring staff and vibrant lifestyle, is totally unique,” says Ann.
Audra Wyant, Marketing Assistant and Move In Coordinator
With a bachelor’s degree in communication and experience in development and marketing, Audra has been working with Luther Oaks since February 2008. Her duties include planning events, coordinating move ins, and other organizational responsibilities. “I enjoy doing my part to help prospective residents plan their future,” says Audra.
